Enhancing the
Anthony Wayne
Experience
The Generals for Generations Foundation raises private funds to build a sustainable financial legacy that will enhance opportunities, empower students, and ensure excellence in academics, arts, and athletics for all future Generals.
Why a school foundation?
Public schools are increasingly challenged to do more with fewer resources. As federal and state funding declines and local levies become more difficult to pass, school operating and capital-improvement budgets must remain focused on essential needs such as salaries, transportation, utilities, daily operations, and maintenance, leaving limited funds for innovative programs, student enrichment opportunities, technology, and facility improvements. The Generals for Generations Foundation raises private dollars to bridge the gap between what the Anthony Wayne School District aspires to do and what public funding permits.
